Have a AQ2200, no sub..

I decided to sell the sub and the box as well. Going with 2 hds312's and getting another enclosure made. Can someone be kind enough to tell me how much I can sell the sub and box for so I have an idea ?
if you are going with two 12s, you need a much MUCH bigger box which is double the current box size, do you have that room?

I personally wouldnot touch those subs though. very inefficent. bottom heavy in large boxes.you would be better off with a pair of these..Crescendo Audio FORTE 12" Subwoofer - 1000w RMS - SSA STORE
not really, two 315s even in an 8 cubic feet net box tuned to 35hz it was peaking at 47hz with my buddy's build, did a 148.2 as well.

yes it is. unless the formula for spl measuring changed..a dB is a db.. lol
Yes it dramatically changed with the new termlab magnum, your feelings will be hurt. Whatever 154 you think you did will most likely be a 148-149 nowadays with the new mic. Just try a MECA comp in the near future, you'll sh*t your pants by what the new standards are now. The mics before did not handle high db numbers as correct as the newer mics. Which gave bloated innacurate numbers.

Well I posted how big my trunk is on a different reply. How much bigger ? Because I'm pretty much set on getting these. I was considering making modifications on the box if I did a single 12". Then the process of which sub will best fit what I'm looking for begins again.

the last show I went too was in about 05, and used both a audio control which was 1dB down from the termlab and the termlab

AC is about 3-5db lower once you get higher spl leaves. It just isn't as accurate at higher levels. And the local dukes here has a ac meter I would do a 147db on it and then go to Redmons and use their term lab and would be 143db so it's not even accurate at lower spl levels. And this was 2006-2007

the AC has a adjustable sensivity and for the 3x events it was lower than the termlab.. im not a rookie man. been competing since i was 14 up untill 22 or so. i remember loyd lowery was doing right around the same number with a very similar setup and so was everyone else. like i said soon enough when i still manage for pull low 150s with a single woofer you will respcet my Authority!! lol. imagine its ten years latter much better amps and woofers. that was with no electircal upgrades besides two batteries..

Yea my buddy does 160+ with 1alt,1battery, 4 15s, 1 run of 1/0 welding wire

That is really impressive, especially considering how low it plays
I've been telling him to add another run of wire at least lol

that's pretty sick..
It's pretty crazy.. You see like big builds like 12 12s on 40k and 8 15s on 30k or 6 18 on 30k and doing 158db at 40hz+ and he has 4 15s on 15k doing 160db plus and 159db music demos... It's crazy impressive
