the Z4 is inefficent abit because of the high MMS but ti should still jam with 2kw. if you have the 12 id do about 2.25 tuned to 36 for daily. you dont need to tune that low with that large of a box. even tuned to 36 the F3 is going to be close to 28hz still plenty low.. that being said you can probably find a woofer that works better off that power. like the SSA xcon or ascent audio havoc and sundown z3

I've used so many ******* woofers in my day it's not funny.

plus I've built a few so I know how the subs responds. as long as the parameters are accurate.

you idoits don't understand that the parameters tell you about every measurable aspect of the driver. not to mention sundown had a dumax on it so yes I can.

surely not 3 cubes. my God that thing is going to be bottom heavy

What your not understanding is what works on paper doesn't work in real life every time. Every build is different and ever car cabin is different. And yes a zv4 is a bottom heavy woofer if you want your bass 15hz-40hz. 3cubes tuned to 28hz with a port 10"x3.5" for a 12" zv4 is golden

whats my cabin res frequency windows down, windows up. re mt 15 in a 5 cube net box at 35 hz (reconed by psi with daily spiders afaik), 8 x 18 inch octo port flared both ends. loads 4-5 inches off the pass ext cab door in a 00 silverado.

i'll give you a hint, big cabin gain down low

2 zv4 12s in 6 cubes tuned to 28hz does 151db sealed at 28hz... That is crazy for a trunk car

4 zv4 15s in 30cubes and did a 158db at 33hz... Now has nsv3 and doing 160db and in week he will have team 15s and hopefully gain another db

Both well oversized and the numbers don't lie. Most people doing 158db on music do it 40hz + and do it with 25,000watts.. He was doing it half that power. And people run their mouths until we show up at shows and shut everyone up

the sub doesn't change the vehicles res frequency.

show me some picks. if you do it how j tell you too you will find the true res frequency. typically that alignment sealed up will peak around 48-50..
