Old school guy with new sub questions

The hf plays a little higher if you need to cross higher.. The ho really shines low in small sealed boxes. The ultimax is higher output with better xmax.

The dual vc ho needs Slightly more box space than the single vc ho

Hard hitting kick drums. Im not looking to compete. I enjoy listening to metal and would like to feel a little excitement when I turn it up. The issue i always have is if a little is good than alot should be better. Lol I dont care for the sloppy hair moving bass. Its cool if thats what a person's into, its just not what im looking for. Hopefully that somewhat answers your question.

Any of those drivers will reproduce those frequencies
If you want it louder you get high power handling drivers?
Also some people tend to overlook the importance of subwoofer and midbass integration
Proper phase and time alignment of the sub to the midbass will give you that "tight" feel it in the chest feeling
If that's what you mean

This is a kick drum
It's not difficult to reproduce that range with subs
But you can see how much info goes into the midbass region which is why proper alignment could play a factor

any decent sub in a sealed enclosure should suit your needs and be as linear as possible not adding any un warranted bass
A ported enclosure will give you a boost at the port tuning frequency losing it's linear response but gaining extra bass at its tuning frequency losing it's accuracy to reproduce the kick drum faithfully to the original recording

Also keep in mind your typical door midbass location will have some cancelation around 150hz give or take
Which is why some sq guys strive to put midbass drivers in kicks to help alleviate that issue by corner loading them

So long story short.... I vote for the idmax 🥰
