The vfl line is the best line ab makes.

Yeah my vfl runs much more efficient, its not near as hungry as the ph and it runs cooler. Also the vfl has the 16v ability for even more power but I dont compete so the 16v was no appeal to me. I just traded for a pair of the ph amps and Im happy with them so far. The sub amp is a bit hungry but makes the same power to my ear, the ph4100 highs amp isnt as clean as my mmats 2050x but I suppose thats not a "fair" comparison.lol

I may consider selling the vfl110 if ur intrested.

Ok.. got some new dimension... is 1.125 ft too shallow for a box.. ?

"shallow"? Sub specs usually list a surface mount depth, and long as you have plenty of clearance around and below the motor u should be fine. If u were asking, 1.125cubes isnt really enough per sub. I found my xfl 12s want 2 to 3cubes apiece to be happy.

No thats just the depth of the box.. the box is 4.6683.. thats before sub displacement. .

Thats perfect for them, I ran my pair with 4cubes in my dakota ext cab and they were really loud. U've got it man, get to building!

Also I havent figured out my port length or displacement. .

I have 2 general depth sizes that I can work with...

1.5 ft of depth will give me 6.22 ft^3

1.25 ft of depth will give me 5.187 ft^3

Which would be closer to the volume that I want so that I would have enough volume after displacement..

6.22 after sub n port u will be around 5 cubes which will work

here is the pic..

I went to 12volt.. and did the port calculator.. it said 16.806 length..

but i don't know if i have to include the 3/4 of mdf for tghe port size..
