hi there.. so i have 4 x skar zvxv2 d2 subs and i have a jeep wrangler 10' the max diamentions in m jeep is a width 42in x length 26 1/2in would like less like 23 length or less if possible to have some space in my jeep, and the height i can do max 17in or i can do a Wedge Enclosures that measures 18 1/2in length max by 42 width max by back height max 25in and front height max 17in. i have some some models of what i was thinking. but i believe it has to much volume in it ill post it btw i like to listen to trap, rap, dubstep, house music, hiphop, edm

drivers recommendation is as followed by skar audio
Recommended Enclosure Specifications
Recommended Port Area 38.0 in² ,
Recommended Ported Volume 3.00 ft³
,Sealed Volume Not Recommended
Recommended Tuning Frequency 34 Hz

Subwoofer Measurements
Total Height 11.39"
Mounting Depth 9.89"
Magnet Diameter 7.85"
Cut-out Diameter 11.25"
Outside Diameter 12.62"

T/S Parameters
Bl- 21.8 n/a, Fs 44.0 Hz, Re Dual 2 Ω, Sd 510.0 cm2, Cms 0.04 mm/N ,Mms 341.0 gr, Qes 0.50, Qms 6.10, Qts 0.45. Vas 25.6 L. Nref 0.15%. Xmax 29 mm (one-way), Sensitvity 83.7 dB

box max dementions
24 length x 42 width x 25 height back panel with front panel 17 height, or 17 height max
volume displacement of my 4 subs should be 33.84 liters im not 100% sure on this.

this was my initial idea, and the middle has plexiglass.

pictures are in link below

Man, that's all Chinese to me..
I’ll make it even more clear, you need to be at 12 cubic feet of internal volume after port, sub, and material displacement. You will need roughly 160 sq in of port area and you will need a tuning frequency around 32-35 hz. Don’t even waste time tuning really low as the subs are gonna fall off a cliff once they get into the 30’s anyway. I would definitely use double 3/4 all around. If you choose to use double on the baffle only, you will be taking a risk. 4 12’s on say rated power of 6k is alot of pressure.

Okay guys so skar has replied.. The sub displacement is 0.275 Cubic Feet... How do u get the displacements of a bracing with the holes and those 45 angle bracing aswell?..using Birch 3/4 wood Will I still have two make it all 2 layers all around Or one should be fine? And is it 2 or 3 layer baffles? How many bracing am I looking at? Not included the corner 45 angles

For braces, you measure/calculate the dimensions HxWxL. For 45s, you multiply HxW÷2 then xL. Whatever your total answer is in cubic inches you will divide by 1728. That is the amount of cubic inches in a cubic foot.
If you use double wall all around, bracing may not be needed. But if you still want it, a window style in the center baffle to rear wall would be the best bet.

I’d double up all around. A front double baffle should be enough as well. I would do 45’s in all 4 corners and if the port is inside the box, I’d personally call it good. 1.5” material thickness all around is very strong and with those subs should be just fine. Obviously when you double up each piece you want to wood glue them together.

This thread... lol

Here is an example of an enclosure for 4 of those subs. This would fit an Escalade SUV and its braced just enough to get away with single ply .75" with a double baffle.

Op... even if you use an aeroport, single ply construction and sacrifice a goat, Those measurements just won't give enough airspace. 4 12's take space... those are not sealed box subs and the displacement of the port in addition to everything else will be considerable. That pic I posted has almost 3ft3 of displacements I had to factor in just to get the net airspace.

Here's this ^^^^ single ply, double baffle...

That design I posted is for a full size SUV.

Here's what it measures out to...

Lol thank you all for the help 😅 I'm going to start making a 3d model of it.. If that top model works then I'll just use those bracing that fit my enclosure if not I'm going to go with one similar to the one he mentioned.. Here's the Pic of the ones on talkin

I just figured out the bracing like the one in the picture and the Cu ft it will take up in my box. The only think I'm missing is the port displacement I have no idea how to calculate.. My port size will be 28W by 5.75H.. Should be close enough to 160 Sq in. And my port length says it should be 20.80 inches.. Would make 20.75 inch instead.

Does everything on here looks good?.
Should look like the bracing in the sample above

Is that an excel spreadsheet you made?
Umm yeah 😅 the braces should look like the one for the Escalade.. Edited!!! Sorry that's all wrong... I can make the box 12. - 12.15 Vb correct? Edited.. So i made a 3d model of it. Had to move some things around.. Here's the specs of the box.. If someone could check the Cu ft of the bracings and the port.. Minus the wood for the port..🙏 I'll provide all the measurements here in a bit aswell.. Tight now what's left after displacements is 12.55 I can lower that two 12.15 or 12.. Which ever is better or what u guys thing would be better. Just let me know

Okay guys iv got it. I believe I'm all set :).. Here's a picture of the internal volume enclosure. Along with the specs and all the bracing inside and port.. The port is at the back upper panel. It's inbewteen my seats headrest so it's not choked off..and the bracing will be window and the sides perhaps windows aswell. If u guys see anything wrong or incorrect on the spreadsheet. Plz let me know I'll appreciate it. And thanks for everyone's help!
