lemans i have read all ur posts on this particular thread and buddy u sound really stupid.....just because he wants a 18 doesnt mean he cant ask for a little sq out of it and trust me u can have an 18 and still get decent sq power and cone area do not make up weither its spl or sql oreineted ......but rawr def. check re xxx or the avalanche or if u can find a tcsound/18 u might look into one of them....

well theres the problem your having replyin lemans ...hes not everyone else and he IS looking to get a 18'' sub with some decent sq and there IS some out there.....

Alls you did was put a model number out there, can't always identify the company and woofer just by the model number.

Just beacuse it can handle more than 2kw doesnt mean it needs it. The sq is only going to worsen as you send it more power (its going to travel further and thus distort more) so in actuality the xxx18 should sound awesome off 2kw and I'm willing to bet it will get d*mn loud too although it could get a bit louder off more power.

think about this again though. if ur in the market for affording an 18'', ur probably going to want to get as much as possible out of that sort of beast. but still, it won't be very happy in 3 cubes.

yes i'm making that shit up because being able to afford an 18xxx allows you to spend more on an amp that'll get the most out of it. but wte man, u may be right, but ur not even reading what i'm saying. and no, i haven't heard an 18'' xxx

I don't know if you saw my post earlier but I defintly won't use just 3 cubes, I'll use whatever I need. Using the tire well and molding and using the space right, I'll have plenty of space left over, like I said, its a large but oddly shaped trunk.
