Want a new sub(uber)woofer 18" or so.

I want to run a single subwoofer fiberglassed' in the tire well.

Looking for something that has a lot of power and sounds good, gonna tune it to like 25hz for SQL or so...

*No more than 2000 watts RMS however, and no more than 800$$ for the subwoofer.*

how much port area does that box have? It looks like its very little. Are you getting much port noise?

The box's port is 5"x7" x28"..I don't have much if any port noise that I can hear. You can feel the air moving but it isn't crazy bad or anything.

Acid, I'm pretty much looking for 1, big, powerful, sub(uber)woofer. But something that I can actually fit inside my trunk. I might (I don't really want to) get 2 15"s because there are more options, but 18" or bigger would be cool!

I think I might go with the RE SX or XXX 18" sub...I'll still look around and consider others.

....Or maybe the "SSX18.22" From TREO. Both seem to be pretty good subs, the tero being more powerful with (2) SSXD1500.1 amps

The XXX with the Alpine MRD-M1001 or something.

Whatever will fit my price range better~

in general, when looking for that large of a surface area, u usually aren't thinking sq in the least. the sx 18, let alone the 9500 are not exactly sql oriented. maybe they were designed to be, but the sx 18 i heard downtown last month with a 2500d on it, that was not a sq setup in the least.
