SoundQubed sub par customer service

Where have you heard it being dodgy?
Different price quotes from different people different days, rude treatment on the phone, and some other shenanigans. It's been a while but I do recall some reports of things that I would not tolerate for the money they ask. If they're treating you right, perhaps it was just one bad employee or a phase??? Haven't seen anything bad about them lately, but I have in the past. If you buy from a brick and mortar store you have someplace to physically go in and threaten somebody if things don't go your way though.

On the hotels topic, I'd rather stay at the Drury than Super 8. Paying for service and cleanliness.
Overall Drury is my favorite hotel. It's not ridiculously expensive, but is always clean and has good breakfast.
In most areas you're paying a bit more just to not have a guy in the room next to you selling crack cocaine. I have a friend that runs some good games with Sheraton and a few other decent chains so I can always get good rooms for pretty short money when I travel. We used to get some pretty nice spiffs on some high end stays with the AMEX platinum card... that was fun while it lasted.

A sexy lady always answers the phone for me. No complaints with CS from me so far

Nothing wrong with someone selling crack in the room next to you, if they cut you a good deal. If he won't knock a bit off street price, then you call his ass in to crime stoppers and get you some dough.

Either way you win. Cheap dope or dolla bills.

I put it in the sub section because this is about their customer service. Ok, so heres the story:
Originally ordered a D2 212, but meant to order a D4.

Sent the sub back and ordered a D4 312 in exchange.

Still waiting on refund for the 212 of $99. Got an email

2 weeks ago saying refund is being processed in 2-3 days, after multipe emails going back to the beginning of May.

Still waiting for that refund.

Issue#2

Attempted to purchase a D2 312. $159 taken out of account. A day later I receive an email saying sub is on backorder until July and order is canceled, prompting me to then purchase the D4 312. Money was never refunded for that. Over a month later, today specifically, my brother tells me there is a another 312 that just arrived at his house. So I'm assuming thats the original order that I was told was canceled. SoundQubed is very slow at answering emails, and some times none at all. I had to explain the details 3 times total In different emails. Just had to vent about it here because they're orgaization needs work.

Now I have to send this sub back and go through this for a second time all for $260.

-Zak from SoundQubed here.

I don't venture onto this or other forums much for a few reasons but mostly due to trying to keep everything in check.

We work really hard around here to make sure everyone is happy and sometimes it just doesn't go as planned. I'm not really sure what is going on with this situation, a phone call from you would be nice so we can settle this as it can be confusing with three separate emails and what not. If a refund was needed it would have been issued same day we do not play around with people's money here. If it was issued on a weekend or holiday it can take up to 5-7 days for our POS to issue and then your bank to receive it.

By no means are we out to take your money, waste your time, or screw you over. This is my profession, this is my hobby, and this is something that is taken seriously.

Please give us a call if you have issues - we will resolve them.

I didn't have good luck with my local DD dealers. I was looking at a pair of redline 712s and everyone wanted too much money (they wanted $365-380 for an overseas 30lb 600-1200RMS sub). Thats the same price as the USA built SSA ICON

I don't think anything lower than 35XX for DD is worthwhile.

Once again I will say that I would not buy their redline series. Most of the big companies have entry level stuff. You're paying for the brand more than the product or R&D. Many people buy redlines so they can say they have DD.

Smallest DD sub I'd buy is a 3500 if I was going for a SQ system on low power. 9500's if I wanted a reasonably priced trunk build. Probably wouldn't buy the ceramic 9900's with 4" coils, honestly. Z's for anything the 9500's can't do

Ill try calling again tomorrow.

Dont buy direct, buy thru ssa or others.

Let the big boys handle the direct support for refunds and such.

It seems soundqubed gives better support to commercial accounts.

All this DD redline hate, lol. Mine are loud and well worth their price point (even though I did not pay a dime for them, trades via CL ftw), I would buy the 715's.

Soundqubed is in the post right above yours trying to give support.

Op cries and won't even call to fix it when help is offered. That's not SQs fault.
