Silverado DDZ build

Good sub choice for 20hz tuning?
Really? You can get whatever spider pack and coil you want. I'm getting a daily pack with a beefy coil, not SPL with their lightweight coil. FS will be low.

I know you intended that as a joke, and I'm going to tune around 27hz btw.

Got the battery rack done. I'm temporarily re-using my positive bus bar until I can buy a 13/32 drill bit for my new tap set. The new bus bars I've got are twice as thick and wider too. I also need to get the ground bar done. I know it looks messy. It reminds me of an octopus, lol

Lets see them pics of your choice of running location :O!!!

I wanna keep it all in the cab to make less holes

I can get pics of that, but they won't really be that interesting. It's just the corner cut off the edge of my battery rack and a 1 inch hole drilled in the corner of the bed. Wire will then run in through the vents on the back of the cab

I think I got quite a bit done today. Got the battery rack and batteries installed. Then I attached the base of my wood floor. Tomorrow I'll lay some sheets of birch over the 2x4 and 2x6's.

I still haven't decided where i want to mount my amps

Got the first layer of the wood floor cut. Now I need to go glue and screw it in. Fits nicely even with the seats all the way back //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Got the amp rack done. Going to install it after I get part of the box finished

Hopefully going to add another layer to the floor tomorrow. It's all glued and screwed though. Pretty solid, imo

First, I got my back panel cut and bolted on. It has fur stapled to the back of it, to reduce vibrations against the metal. It's the back wall of my box and will be well braced and pushed tightly against the back of the cab. Hopefully it won't flex too much

Next, I ran my power and ground wires. Here are some pics for @los33;

Inside the cab:

Underneath the truck:

Between the cab and bed:

Good picture of how I ran the ground wire through an existing hole:

What it looks like in the bed with wires coming through:

Custom fuse block, lol. One 300 amp fuse will be on top, and the other will be on the bottom. Lugs will be between the fuses on each side to "stack" them. I really don't care what what's his name has to say about it

200 amp fuses are for pansies, get some real fusing before you stack them.

they do make 500 amp fuses ya know, if you're limited by the max fusing for anl and you need more than that, then i'd stack it but thats just me

also you might want to wire loom your wire thats going through the bed right next to the metal, i know you know it'll wear through and short eventually so i dont know why im telling you this tbh

Nice build man, I'm honestly jealous. Serious question though, how do you afford all this with a job at k-mart while in high school?
No bills to pay, and I've been saving my money up for four years. Each time I get new stuff, I sell my old stuff and get money back.

U just answered ur own question. He's in high school with no mortgage payment or real bills
Yep //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

what else does he have to spend his money on while living at home with mom?
Exactly, even thou you mean that sarcastically. I don't understand why you have a problem with me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Hey retard, i specifically said I was using 300 amp fuses. The 200 amp fuse was what I had laying in my garage, and i used it to measure spacing.

Also, I don't give a fuck about what you have to say. Go work on your own system.

Actually I don't mean it sarcastically.

I always tell my wife how nice it would be to still be able to live at home with my mom and not have to pay for a house.

I joke with my friend about it too, he's 26 and still living with his mom and doesn't pay rent.
