@shredder2 would know. A box for 4-VFL8D4's on a Smart 3K in a standard cab Dodge. My thoughts were 3 cubes net at 35hz. Any thoughts? No thoughts @Popwarhomie?

If you were happy with your MD3k I would get another one but the 2 ohm model.

I run the TS parameters. I’ve never listened to factory recommendations. There are way too many variables with ported subs to just blanket a number to it. I think that Orion would have plenty of wattage btw, now that I’m checking it out. with some extra probably.

The MD3K tore up that ABHD15D2 at about 60% gain.

I had a 4-way system in the Bug.
2- Pioneer pro 3-½" tweets
2- Pioneer pro 6-½" midrange
2- American Bass 6-½" midbass
1- American Bass HD15D2
1- Taramps DS250X2 (Pioneer midrange)
1- Taramps DS800X4 (AB midbass and Pioneer tweets)
1- Taramps MD3000 one ohm version for the sub.
1-Taramps 4-way crossover (not needed, I know)

Nahh. I've reconed subwoofers and ran them with others plenty of times. Just take it easy on the new subwoofer for a few days to let the suspension loosen up.
