It means one is stable and produces the most power at 1 ohm and the other is stable to 2 ohm and produces the most power at 2 ohms. Do NOT wire an HD3000 to .5 ohm or a 2 ohm version under 2 ohms.

2x 4 ohm coils can be wired parallel to 2 ohms or series to 8 ohms. There's many amps with 2 ohm power you can use.
