2ohm 4inch speaker on unknown head unit output rating

Hi everyone
I need to replace/upgrade my 4inch dash speaker on my ‘09 daihatsu sirion/toyota passo

I’am gonna install JBL GX428
but i just realize it has 2,3Ohm impedance rather than common 4ohm
i use stock/factory head unit (Clarion PX-2716a-b) and i have no idea what output rating for this HU
And i also have no idea what stock speakers impedance since previous car owner already replace the speaker before i bought the car

Is it okay to use this speaker if the HU was actually rated only for 4ohm speakers?
FYI This car have 4 speakers 2x4inch in the dash and 2x6,5inch in the rear door. And i measure the rear speakers have 3,5ohm impedance (this is not factory/stock speakers too)
Thanks

I have installed JBL 3-ohm speaker onto a lot of factory decks without any issues. However, I will not say they will work fine for you, but personally, I would hook them up. You can quickly plug one in and see if the radio comes on and plays. If you don't get sound, then return them and get some 4-ohm speakers. Those are great speakers, but they come to life when you hook them up to an amp.

Your HU is not designed for 2-3 ohm drivers; it might work, but the 3 ohm drivers are just going to pull power sooner, not really any additional, and will likely burn out the HU sooner than later, while clipping and toasting your JBLs.

Too many decent budget 4-channel amplifiers out there, do yourself a favor, get an inexpensive 4-channel amp instead, do it once, do it right.

This little Korean-built Rainbow 4-channel is about the size of a 12-oz soda can, puts out 75x4 legit watts at 4 ohms.

In-cart price is $90.00!!!

I'm building a budget 13-channel test bench using one of these (well actually it's 150x4 big brother), but 80x4 watt - $69.00!

The other 8 channels will be powered by 2 of these 150x4 class A/B at $136.00 (got mine on sale for $116.00 ea)

$99.00 for 125x4 watts:
