Guys looking to get some help on my future upgrade. I currently have 4 12 lanzar opti. I have a 2002 impala. Alternator 240 amps kinetik battery 1400. For the amp I just recently ordered a DC 5k and waiting on the arrival still. So I'm debating I want 2 18. Will be in trunk and box will be the whole trunk. So it's either 2 18 DC level xl or 2 dd3518. If any other brand let me know as well with price. I want my budget to be around 1100 for both. I will mostly likely by one then the other. I want to run them at 1 ohm so wat vc should I get?

I know Impala's have big trunks but are you sure you have enough room for two 18"s?

You'd need about 12 cubes for two xl's

I'm most prolly going to take off the back seats as well as where the 6x9 goes. This is how I want it moreless.

Swap out the kinetic to Optima yellow tops, Xs power, deka group 31 batteries. If you really want the 18's do a flat wall and a clean amp rack in the trunk so you can acress the spare tire if needs be. I'd do 2 obsidian 18" v2's, they're reasonably priced and can take a lot of power.
