Awesome thread. Will be nice to finally have some semi-local competition. I actually just joined this forum because of your thread. There's a show in red deer on June 8 I'm aiming to be there. To clear the air, my swifts got 2 ascendant audio 15s, and 4 12 year old eq d-10s on stock alt and factory electrical. I use a 15 year old nsb 90 and have done a 156.3 with car off. Interested in seeing #s from the 4th order. There's over 5 sheets of mdf in my swift and my baffle is 6 layers thick. I peak at 56. If you get the chance, shoot the **** with don hebig(Db don), mike and mark(rip rock), and clay(a team). They will help huge with their experiences with walls.

I have been talking with the twins off and on.. and I bought Db Dons Stetsom 7k2d's.. and the xs power d3100 came from clay lol... I am working out of town right now and haven't been home in a month.. but as soon as I can make it back I'm gonna finish the 4th order.. if I notice any respectable gains I might finally drop ALL the power to these 15's and see how it does.. then I'm going to tear it all out and try it with a removable baffle and the port on the driver side to see what gain/loss there is. But I don't think I'll be back home till June 1st so it's gonna be close

What numbers were you doing with low power like I'm running. . Just trying to figure an estimate of the two Stetsom

I will be at the show in June for sure.. hopefully the metro is in some sort of competition state though.

I'm looking forward to actually seeing your car/build.. the world record street max!

Ok so I've been seriously busy at work. I wish I had more then 1 or 2 days off so I can work on this metro. No new progress as of yet but next weekend I should have a month or so to work on it again.

Well I'm starting on making this a 6th order series tuned bandpass wall in the metro.

Here's where I'm at now.

The inside baffle for the two 15's with three 4" ports

The first set of ports all exactly the same size

The baffle with the couplings so I can swap ports

Sorry nothing has changed or any updates but I got called back to work just 5 days after coming home. So now I'm only gonna have 1 day to work on the car every 2 or 3 weeks.. hopefully I can get some serious time on it before the double and tripple point event in August.

**** I've been so busy at work I haven't had time to work on this build in forever... UNTIL NOW!

So I started messing around with a 4th order bandpass ... Then went to a 6th order series tuned bandpass and couldn't break 148db legit on The dash with two audio pipe 1500D's

But I've decided its time to go back to basics...The front baffle wall and port are completly removeable and bolted onto an angle iron frame!!

More to come over the next few days!!

with current port setup id add more 45 to each side of the box left and right. should help with airflow

OK so I tried it and I'm exactly where I was with the original box design.. But I went the same port area and length as the first design (12" long) so I figured as much ..

Two things I noticed was my tuning is lower now just like Will Lievers 55hz second thing I already knew would happen but is serious amount of sawdust collection in the passenger side of the enclouser.

Next on the list is to shorten the port by half.. (12" down to 6") second is to add a rounded corner in the passenger side
