How low do you have the Ushers??
And, thanks for the tips fellas //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif I'm goona be poor //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

3w2 = Focal Be driver??
i got the ushers @ 420 @ 12db w/ electronic analog xover , although i've had'm to 380 24db digitally when i had the Eclipse- feel they can go a bit lower- i'll see with the h701. I recommend throwing a few layers of mat on the chamber cover- this mod tends to allow a lower xover point before resonance kicks in.

Well for fun I will throw in the 4 way I am in the process of buying.

You've got some very nice stuff there....I've heard only good things about those drivers.

Good luck to you as well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Looks like I'm going have ~90w RMS for the midrange drivers. Is that an issue for a dome??? I thought I saw the Dayton rated at 20w continuous.
Depends on the freqs/range you play them...but its not really an issue. I ran chs off an xxk4150 and now the 60per of the DLS and my version of the Ushers handle 15/30watts respectively....Of course the lower you play them pushing below their fs affects how loud you can push'm before resonance/bottoming out.

That's what I figured. Thanks.

With this mod, how much lower would you say it will comfortably play?? Would single layer of Dynamat Extreme work because I think that's all i have left //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I had all but decided what to get til I saw this thread, lol thanks a lot. Im going through the same issues atm. Redoing the entire front stage & having a fun time trying to match everything up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wallbash.gif.1310150c49dd52e0fbe1813a0681e5c3.gif just when I decide what to get, come across something better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Try getting some Second Skin damplifier pro. Better product, costs less.

Yea planning ahead does work for some, but not for everyone //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I'm the same way...I've probably bought $2000 worth of equipment and never installed it. I also sold/traded to of the most beautiful amps in the world to run this, so it does sting a little still //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I'd like to use Damplifier, but I'm not going to order a bunch when I probably only need a couple square feet at the moment. The only place left for deadener in my car is the headliner....oh and the glass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Well I got the Ushers today and I have to say that I'm pretty surprised at how solid and heavy they are. I guess I was expecting something a bit smaller and ligher, but these are pretty impressive...built rock solid....just holding them it feels like they should be able to handle the power pretty well.

I was planning on test fitting them with some backstrap but that might not be sturdy enough. Any other tricks to help hold them in place through my listening trial??
