They claim to be subwoofers but would it be stupid to do so? I might be able to fit them in door pods but what do yall thinking..

If you have room to mount the m inverted, you have room to make proper door pods for them and mount them normally. If you want them as midrange/midbass, then an inverted mount is out of the question.

yeah the 65X is not a mid, it is a sub. I think it only goes to 800 hz.. not 100% sure ont hat but I knwo it is not a mid.

two sets might be some severe overkill. you would have to have that much more room, that much more power, and that much more tweeter/mid to keep up with that.

i seriously think that if you can find enough power for one pair you will be fine.

for a mid you owudl want the 65M from mpyre. It is a modded extremis.

I tradded my diamond hex 6.5"s for a set of a Jl Audio XR650-csi...going to run those through a crossover in the stock locations...tweeters in the door panels and then maybe 1 set of 2 sets of xxx mids active through a seperate amp...giving the xxx's 160 x 4 if I ran 4...I would do them in fiberglass door pods and I have it figured it...theres a really good area on the bottom of my dooor...its just bare metal no door panels im going to fiberglass the door pods right there and push mount the jl crossover as well right there.
