Need help from you active veterans. I want to add a midrange to my already existing 2 way active up front to make it 3 way active. I will be getting a band-passable 2 channel for the midrange channel that has DSP.

How do I get a full range signal to the midrange amp and not loose T/A on the other drivers?? Equipment is in my sig.

Thanks in advance!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

T/A, time aligment? Are you doing time aligment on the non-fader RCA?
Yes, T/A = time allignment. That's what I was thinking but not sure how it would work. Just split the R and L on the non-fader and run the non-fader passed on the HU. Then let the LP on the sub amp do it's job??

That's what I was thinking too.

The only problem with is that you loose the capability of controling the sub and mids levels from the HU. You'll have to set the gains on those two amps accordingly.

Yea but I have the processing on the midrange amp and the sub just needs to be LP at the point of my choosing, right??

Any other way of doing this? How about using a preout on the midrange amp??

I guees you are replacing the Eclipse controler witj an AudiControl or something like that.

I really want to replace my Eclipse HU with a Nak CD500, and run an AudioControl DQX for signal processing.

My 8053 and the ultra cool (or should I say hot) 16v balanced signal will stay. I will be running all Kicker SX amps with a billion DSP features including PEQ, HP/LP/BP x-overs, phase control, muti memory presets, bla bla bal. All controled by the SXRX. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
