Hey guys, first of all I'm pumped about being back on the forums and getting back into car audio. Was in a pretty bad wreck 4 years ago and my car was totaled and I lost everything!!! Im ready to system up again (so tired of listening to my stock setup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif very depressing) Just ordered my new setup (its all in my signature) and got everything including the wiring for about $1500. Will be installing hopefully by this coming sunday as long as everything comes in on time. Please tell me what you think. Please no negative comments on the JL.... i see a lot of hate on them here but iv always been a fan and they have never let me down......besides maybe costing too much at times..... but hey if you really enjoy a hobby why not spend a lil extra to make yourself happy?

Im really hoping so. The box is the only thing that has come in so far. Got it from speakerboxesusa.com Its costumed built for a 12w6v2 so I think it should be fine.

Is it the new w6? JL says they're only supposed to be used in sealed boxes

Oh ya I'm sure I will be. Loudness isn't as important to me as a good sounding quality system. My last one was all jl and I loved it. It's actually pretty similar but instead of 1w6 I was pushing 2w3s

That's a lie. The new W6 is essentially a W7 with a smaller motor and different surround.
Please, tell me more about how I'm wrong //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
