you'll eat up your bits in one pass or break them... i would do 4 passes... i usally drill both holes for the jig bit and do one speaker then to the next speaker then i adjust it down a little under 1/4" and go back and start with the first hole agian

i'll give you a shout when i do my SPL box...this build is for daily...i think the termlab would hurt my feelings with it so i'm not even gonna try. lol

Haha...youd be surprised...ever time i tune my R higher my numbers get lower...retarded....but yeh hit me up anytime good luck with the rest of it

another router question...how do i roundover the edges?

i got a 1/4" r/o bit and a 3/8" r/o bit, which should i use?

and is it even worth rounding the edges if i'm gonna carpet the box?

Use the 3/8 round over set the depth where you want it then just guide it over the edges. Test the depth on some scrap wood first so it doesnt leave a lip.

Also for cut outs I use a upcut spiral in two passes 1/2" and 1".

it'd be too much wood filler and sanding down perfectly to get the whole thing done right...with the "stands" on the bottom theres gonna be a lot of cut edges showing.
