I still have much fill / sanding to do, but I figure I will at least show off where I am at right now. It is definitely getting there and my efforts are finally starting to have a return. I am happy with it's fit and the overall shape and look that it is taking on. I need to go pick up more body filler because I didn't realise how much I would need and should have went with a big can lol.

I couldn't imagine trying to carpet this shape. I will paint, but not a smooth glossy paint. It is going to be a hammered metal paint.

OK, so 4th month into it and I have had a chance to progress and add some kind of update here. I am done playing with any fillers now. I added the port and pounded out a shape I can live with. The sanding is good enough for the hammered nickel finish I will be giving it. I will start the painting tomorrow. Here is what the final look is before painting though. It has a final net volume of 2 CUFT and tuned around 32hz. Styro pellets to get the volume.

looks reall good. 4 months to this point? just no time to really get to it? Kinda like me, some one on this forum helped his friend make a box in 1 hour and its taking me a week to get mine near to done. Like how you went all out on your first time. It looks good more pics when there is paint!

Finding time the past 4 months has been hard. 50-60 hours at work each week. Buying a house and relatives visiting will do that. It won't be long now before I can start making an amp rack for the trunk.
