Alright guys, so I need some opinions here. This will be a 3 way active setup. 2x 6.5s, 2x 3.5s, and 2x tweeters. I am looking at one of two option.
Option 1, $590. Grab the signal before my factory amp with a DSR1, and process the signal to the amps
From there run 2 of these amps
This would let me run 90 watts rms to each tweeters and each 3.5, and then bridge the second amp to run 250w rms to each 6.5. Now, I know soundstream does not get much love. However, ordering through
Crutchfield gives me confidence that even if its **** I can get my money back. These amps are tiny, and I could mount them behind the glove box, and would give me more power for a little more money and sacrificing amp quality. The DSR1 would also allow me to tune my subs with a dsp as it has 8 outputs.
Option 2. $500. Run this amp
This option gives me a better quality amp, and possibly a more reliable dsp. Its cheaper, but mounting area will be more of an issue. The big thing is that it limits all of my speakers to just 75w RMS.
So. What would you recommend?
