envoy build - ssa 10" gcon

Can't believe I missed this looking good and can't wait to see the finish product also kind of makes me want to take the badges off of my grand prix as well.
Probably missed it since its a slow build lol.

Should debadge the grand prix....looks a lot cleaner n simple to do

Goo gone n fishing line..... I spray alittle goo gone near the top of the badge let it sit for a few seconds n the take the fishing line and move from one side of the badge to the other until its off then goo gone the rest of the residue off. Not a hard process....just take your time.

Yeah I read up on it I saw that a hair dryer also came in handy for removal I guess it's another thing to ad to my to do list thanks for the help I will continue to follow the build now that I finally saw it.

so not much more done yet to this... i rounded the corners off on the base and i just got done ordering a few things.

ordered

1. evercoat body filler

2. 4 sq ft of Q Mat to try out

3. Grizzly Industrial Inc. lvlp paint gun

finally got some resin down.... one heavy coat to soak in and then i just did a lite coat. not its time to build it up.

after it dried and second lite coat was brushed on...

well the other day i put in "alittle" work and was able to trim up the excess fabric away from the box, sand it alittle, trim out the port hole and speaker ring and then i added another layer of mat and resin making it 3 total.... have about 1-2 to go on the outside then its onto the inside corners where i will do about 1-2 layers. also got my sound deadner, body filler, and paint gun in the mail as well as my skar audio comps. anyways here are some updated pics

ok so i started to sand this bad boy and did a test fit as well.... my only issue with the test fit was port issue. the big *** elbow i have doesnt go in place now. it did before i wrapped it so im thinking it might have shifted alittle during wrapping but not by much. so now i gotta see if i cant find a different less bulky elbow or i may have to step down to a 2" port //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif other than that everything is going good with fitment.
