Btl 15...139.8 db?/ sub suggestions?

im just not sure what to do i guess. i would like to stay in class B, but im just not sure if i should change the sub setup, the amplifier, such as getting an amp that will run a 0.5 ohm load stable for burps, such as IA, Sundown, etc., building a box and how to face it, or if i should just keep the setup the same and just try to retune everything. The box installation process is just the hassle, considering i have to build practically every box in my trunk.

you went to the one in rockford right? if so witch car did you have? i was there?
rockford? I definitely did not hear about anything in rockford and i live in rockford. When was this? Maybe it was when i was out of town last week. I would like to get my setup metered.

it was 2 day...it was my first one and i thought it was good, any of you guys going to the one in elgin? and i tried to take a pic of your set-up but i didnt get a chance to. hazardous i saw you when you were quilifying i think

Shit i woulda loved to get in on the competition woulda been fun to get my setup metered. I just didn't drive by american tonight. I was in the area but never drove past.

So, because a few people were arguing about something that obviously is wrong the OP is now even more clueless than ever...

Ok, some basic car audio rules... Ready...

1) DONT EVER TURN YOUR GAINS ON YOUR AMPLIFIER ALL OF THE WAY UP...

I think the OP needs to do a lot more reading and a lot more research on how speakers, amplifiers, and electricity works before he even thinks about competing again...

Some people get loud by luck... Others have to use their heads...

Thanks... That is all...

to add to that

GAINS R NOT VOLUME CONTROLS, THE HIGHER U TURN UR GAINS THE MORE NOISE IS INTRODUCED INTO UR SETUP

Actually, they are volume controls. They work the same way, but we know this and have been through it already. Gain up/volume down is the same as gain down/volume up.

With a scope, it's easier to see where you are getting your most power without over driving the amp. However, you are correct. The higher the gain, the more noise. Not something you want to do for daily driving.
