I have not heard a 6-rotor engine. I didn't even know there was such a thing! Rotary engines are cool, but not efficient enough to be the main type of engine used in vehicles, unfortunately. Didn't Mazda make one too?

1. an RX7 has a rotary engine, so it doesn't have traditional "pistons"

2. You don't need higher compression pistons for boost. Quite the opposite actually, because that allows you to cram more air into the cylinder with forced air induction like a turbo/supercharger.

3. It doesn't have piston rings

I might not be ASE certified, but I know the four strokes are Intake, compression, combustion, and exhaust

Lol nice one there you you little whipper-snapper you. I actually saw your YouTube vid on that engine you guys were messing with. That thing was running suuuuuuper rich brah! Coming onto this forum has made me realize one thing, INVEST IN HEARING AID STOCK! lol I seriously don't know how you guys can do that. But then again i've had my fair share of loud noises building engines and racing. But that sauna with those redonkulous speakers man!! Must sound freaking amazing! Why are you tearing it down. I didn't go through every post but I did read enough. Alternator troubles and porting woes, correct?

Thanks, yeah it was super rich. Was spitting quite a bit of flame at one point, lol.

After a while, I get used to the volume of each system. I'm re-doing the wall because the port was not in the optimal spot, there wasn't enough port area, and the port wasn't long enough to reach the low tuning I was after.

I sold my 8k amp and bought three 7k amps. I'll be running one amp to each sub. Alternators are fine now. I've got four of them on my truck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
