Advice on a Murder Charge

Yep. I'm tellin you he needs a good lawyer, spending 20k could save him from spending an extra 5-10 years in prison, which would mean a loss of at least $100k in potential earnings if he was in prison making Gators license plates.

LOL! have to laugh about something.

Hopefully his parents will help him out. They aren't really close by any means, but this is THIER sons life here. maybe they will get everything done for him, and help out.

how do YOU or ANYONE, INCLUDING ME, for that matter know he wasn't in true danger as there were 3 of them and only him? the other guys could of had weapons, but they arent going to tell the police this, now r they?
Its going to be a he said, they said trial.

IF the other guys had weapons he would have probably been killed after stabbing their friend. Your buddy was the only one with a weapon, so that makes it even harder to claim self defense I'm guessing.

In a later post you go into detail saying that one guy rushed him, with no weapon and your buddy broke the bottle and stabbed him in the throat. Not looking good for him and with his past history perhaps it's time to get him off the streets...

Precisley what I was doing. I have no intention of arguing or battling someone over possible outcomes as I'm not pursuing a profession in criminal justice. Nothing more than my .02. Sorry if I've stumbled upon a last nerve here..

David is 6'1" and 155lbs

other guy is same height and outweighed him by 100 lbs what would YOU do if 3 guys came after you after you had already had problems with them and you left?

Of course, you kick all 3 of thier butts, huh!

See, the more facts come out the more self-defense is a slim chance...very very slim but it gives insight into his mental state. This should lead into a lesser included offense IMO.

did the other guys have weapons? what was the reason for the altercation in the first place? since the other guys didnt have weapons and it doesnt say they all tried to jump him ur friend should of just tried to fight......

i understand him being scared but id much rather get my *** kicked than go to jail for murder...i guess sitting here with a clear head, sober and not in that situation i can say that....on of those life altering mistakes im sure hed go back and correct.

personally i hate guys that get into fights at parties...its always over something stupid like he spilled his drink on me or he looked at me funny. ive drank alot of beer and gone to alot of parties and not once have ever been in a situation that i couldnt just walk away from and see another day.... thats just my .02 cents.

Sounds like he would love to be in prison and that he hates to be a free and productive citizen. I know I wouldnt want the likes of him walking the streets free.

Maybe you should share the same cell with him. I hardly find beating a cops ***, "no big deal". In fact it shows his violent nature if you ask me.

for a good lawyer (scum) cause without a good lawyer his jail time will

even be longer.....And they will try to show intent rather than self defence....
