What car should I buy?

Hey, I'm at work and have nothing better to do.

I'm looking for a purchase price of around $20000 or less. What car should I buy? It would need to be new or newish with very low miles.

Here's what I'm considering so far:

2006 Mustang GT with 7400 Miles

2008 Ford Escape V6 FWD

2008 Nissan Altima Coupe 4 cyl (little pricier but I really like it)

Other ideas? Only caveat is no Honda.

Thanks!

I got Mrs. Monkey a Ford Escape V6 FWD about two months ago. Its a sturdy little rig fosho. Out of that list, I'd probably go with the Altima.
If I had my own list it would be about this long:

2008 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon
I have a bad taste from my dealings with Nissan. But that Altima is a pretty nice car...

I like the Compass and the Patriot... They surprised me with their prices too...

Nissan out of all of those, too bad it's French now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif But at least the French are doing something right with it.

Why no love for Hondas? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I grew up at the drag strip, and it was always muscle and domestic VS import crowd. I had a firebird, among other cars, and was definitely in the domestic camp. Hondas are the epitome of importitude. I'm getting more likely to look at imports, such as Nissan, but just can't bring myself to buy a Honda.

Have you driven one though?
The line of site out of each window sucks ***.
Yes - I have found comparable blind spots in all the coupes I've tested out. Mustang, '07 Eclipse, '08 Altima Coupe. I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that unless I get a SUV or sedan, I will have to peer around the big c-pillar.

Never said it was perfect. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Personally, I myself would go for a car thats decent on gas, that I don't have to make payments on, has a great reliability record, and is cheap/easy to repair. Toyota or honda, (not a new one, have no experience with the newer stuff) maybe. Early 90's sentra or civic hatchback would be a car I'd love to tool around in. However, none of those were listed as choices. So...I voted mustang....nissan mighta been the next choice....
