Can pretty much guarantee hes gona sell the 8s n 10s if he comin from 2 15s and n hdc 15.Instead of sticking with the 15's why not sell them and get 2 beefy 10" or 12" subs, then you could possibly run ported with the smaller size requirement that you have. On craigslist you could get good money for the L7's and then get you some SA8's or SA10's

^-- What he just said.
In the right enclosure and install L7's can win IASCA SQ world championships. Just ask Gary Biggs and Mark Eldridge (2005 champs). Granted they are pros and had ridiculous resources from kicker at their disposal..
pretty sure those L7's were alot better than the new junk out now days.........
Yep that was a different time..^-- What he just said.

Agreed but all subs dnt sound better ported. 2 15s in a properly sealed box will sound jus fine. Just have to find the right subs. Really just depends on the kind of sound hes lookin for tho.oh ok, For me I would rather have some 8's or 10's or a single 15 in a properly sized ported box than sticking with 2 sealed 15 in a sealed box that isnt really utilizing its potential. But to each their own.
