Well my amp is on 2 ohms with rms 600 and barely any gain maxes it out and makes the sub pop, am I doing something wrong or is your sub taking way more power than mine

Yes starting with boost off I tune gain first till I hear distortion, but I never get to hear distortion, it just starts popping till I ease it off

The amp has pre amp receptors on it, would pre amp shrink the signal to allow my sub to not clip when given more of it OR does pre amp make a signal larger, which would be the opposite of what I need

Turn your bass gain to zero and then turn up your HU until you hear it starting to distort. Then, set your bass gain from there. When it starts clipping, then, back the gain off a tad.

That's what shredder said lol

This might work, but building your own would be best.

I'd rather use the dimensions I was given and build one lol
To build one you can't use external dimensions without experience and understanding port area/tuning even if its given. Getting the portwalls dead-on takes knowledge. This is a 3 common wall sub/port on face trunkwalled design /w/ minimal materials for 2 Zvx-12's and a 4.5K wired down.

I feel a bit more knowledge would be involved figuring port length than a calc gives. Consider power levels/vehicle/listening habits and you get a custom design. End-correction as well... it's all involved in being accurate, T/S parameters plugged into a modeling program on your power is the best way.
I dislike inaccurate ported enclosures myself... low tuned even
Above Zvx-12's wired low on 4.5K is the plan... space limited and trunkwalled... a custom enclosure is more than volume/tuning.
He wants output in the 30's and under, Sql?.. ok then... it'll need to be tied together tight and deadened to the max but I suppose it could be called Sql. Saturn Aura... its gonna be torn apart at .5
