Infinite baffle. You'll get a lower roll off point at the upper end think 50-60hz but the low end will be more pronounced
If you sealed off the rear wave from the from wave coming off the sub in a large enough area...bam ib
That was the point of having a 4ft3 sealed part of the bandpass but tbh this might be unpopular but I like the roll off, it isolated the very deep and subsequently less audible frequencies which makes them seem louder in comparison, and yes it’s less loud but my acoustic preferences lean towards full range audibility and equality with bias on the lower end, so if the higher bass frequencies are less audible than the lower ones but still loud enough to have the acoustic value I prefer it that way. On that not I was thinking of having a sort of infinite baffle using the entire car cabin as the enclosure and routing the back waves through the back of the car but that’s an endeavor for another day with a much larger driver (hopefully one I’ve built myself by that time)
