//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif thanks, EEBest home theater subs for the money are MartinLogan. I have th baby dynamo and everyone that hears it if floored. i personally rate it about a 9.4 maybe a 9.5 on a good day. it'll do down below audible range they say it specs out somewhere in the 20's of the top of my head, but with TrueRTA and the digital outs on my computer (192kbs) you could still feel down to about 18Hz before it crapped out and just started moving air. Also working on getting a EVX-180B pro audio 18 for extended bass drum sounds.
Personally, I think a subwoofer is the perfect DIY project for a home system...I think that many of them are overpriced and you don't have quite the level of complexity in a subwoofer that you have in a set of main channel speakers.
For $1000, you can build one hell of a powered sub setup...
For pre-built stuff, I'd say Adire had the best deal going with the Rava...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
