How do you know? If he is only using a 2" port then it would be a little under 11"

Even a 3" port which would work for many 8" drivers would only be 25.4" which isn't really big, but getting there.

fantasy HT sub would have to be a 15 tumult in a 5ft^3 box tuned to anywhere from 15-20hz with a 1000 watt plate amp from parts express...drools.

i own a shitty little 8 altec lansing....50-80watts...poopy.

i have to say the tumult with the adire dustcap is one of the most beautiful drivers i've ever seen.

two 10" MTX 4000's (my old car subs) in 4 cubes tuned to 20 hz.

I'd give it a 7.5 because it slams pretty d*mn hard and is pretty tight sounding, but doesn't get as low as i'd like to. But what can i expect for a pair of subs that cost me $100 like 4 years ago.
