JBL Northridge....I give it a 8.5 ....I love it! Paid $197 brand new from Deal-Stop.com.

Oh, forgot to add I am also running HTI 6.5" rears and 8" fronts along with a 3-way center (Northridge EC35). Everything is JBL.

i read some pretty good reviews on that, but i think they were all from tom nousaine

I didn't get a chance to mess with the sub yet. Picked it up and went straight to work. I'm just sitting here, looking at it, I WANT TO PLAY IT **** IT!

we got a velodyne.. it goes pretty low

i have one as well, the spl series. its a 10". i love it. it covers all the low end freqencies really well, and has decent output. my dad runs the JL gotham. ridiculous.

I didn't think the JL home audio subs were out yet. I heard from my JL rep that the Fathoms weren't out, but I guess that doesn't include the Gotham.

we got ours through a home audio dealer. i think they came out officially to select certified dealers last quarter.

Out of curiousity, what else is in your Dad's HT setup. Sounds like its pretty badass.

i know he has mcintosh/monitor sutff. i dont know what exactly. and for the tv, he should be getting a projector down the road sometime, but right now he has a 60" sony sxrd i think.
