Will This Work For My 8" Sub?

Hey Guys,

So I'm looking to finally put in a sub that I've had sitting around for a couple of months now. It's a SoundQubed HDS208 D2. It will be getting roughly 500 watts rms, which is a bit under what SoundQubed recommends, but it's what I got right now. I'm very limited on space, so my maximum dimensions are 20"L x 10"W x 14"H. That is basically 1.14 cubes before displacements. I want to tune it around 36hz, so I'm thinking of an aero port 3" diameter and 11" long. After displacements, I think I'll be in the .85-.90 cubes range. Is this box sounding like it will be a good fit for that SoundQubed, or do I need a slightly bigger box, different port, etc? I'm not familiar with the SoundQubed 8", so any suggestions are appreciated.

What type of port? Traditional slot or an aero?

I have one in .75 @ 32 and it does pretty good off 300 watts
