Ok i bought all this stuff to make my high/mids as loud as my bass (2 12's on 1500 rms). I installed everything perfectly and got the approval from people on this site. But idk what it is it just sounds like ****. Not loud at all and horrendous sound quality. At loud volumes its super scratchy and washed out sounding. IMO sounded better with stock speakers running off the HU and peoples stock audio systems are louder lol. I just dont understand. Yes i have set gains correctly and i have played around with all the HU settings. Any ways I want a setup with more power. So i need recomendations. Im more concerned with volume then sound quality but i want decent sound quality. Do i need a new amp? New door speakers? Price range is 300$. My current setup is below.

Hifonics Zeus ZXi 683 (ZXi683) 6" x 8" 3-way Car Speakers, 6x8

Clarion XR2410 400W, XR Series 4-Channel Amplifier

JVC Arsenal KD-AHD65 CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

Also dont try to use all my 300$ haha. For example if all i need is a more powerful amp that pushes out more watts then just say that rather then suggesting new speakers too just because i have money left over. Im basicly trying to do this as cheaply as possible.

If it is indeed my speakers heres what im thinking: buying a nice set of speakers for the front then bridging the clarion amp to those speakers and just having no speakers in the back.

looked at amp and ur underpowering the speakers
amps rated at 60 rms tho? Speakers 85 i think. Also i tried bridging the amp to the two front speakers to get 100 rms a piece and it didnt sound much different...

i would get a amp then buy speakers that go with ur amp..but if u just keep the amp find some speakers around the rms on the amp
So then im looking for speakers that take the same rms the amp puts out? Because i have heard so many things like you have the amp has to be double the rms of the speaker and stuff lol. But getting new speakers would make it louder and improve sound quality? Or just improve sound quality?

well depends on what speakers your looking at
Alrite to be honest this whole speaker thing is confusing me. Im looking on sonic electronics and none of the 6x8's on there take more than 100 rms. I mean if i bought speakers that take 100 rms and matched them with a 100 rms amp would that extra 30 rms even be that much louder?

yeah a lil..im not saying you have to have the same rms just around the same
