Just purchased a RD1500 and looking for ideas should I go with just 1/0 or 1/0 to 4ga

As anybody that owns the JL RD 1500 knows the ground and power are incredibly close to each other so putting 1/0 ga I am not sure if I buy Skyhigh wire it will fit... (Sky high has a thick inner core).
2 ga is what they say to use but as we all know that is crazy hard to find from a reputable company...
Any ideas please guys?

You can use welding cable. Just make sure it is OFC and not CCA.

Or, you can get 2 gauge wire ferrules, with the proper crimper, and strip a 0 gauge to fit the 2 gauge.

That's a great idea for the 2 ga, I have 2 ga ferrules and debated just cutting off strands and doing that and I do have a crimper but it only goes to 8 ga.
I am going to eventually add on to my other eight speakers in the front with a Helix V Eight so maybe a distribution block would be a better idea just go 1/0 to1 ft of 4 ga to the rd1500? others I have talked to said that would be fine but I like to get a consensus. I have JL W6s that I used to have with a RF 1.1200 but it just wasn't enough for them...

Wow only 3.21 per ft! Do u know the thickness in by any chance? Skyhigh 1/0 has it at .528 in but it's 116.00 for 20ft

I don't know off hand. I ran 1/0 eb flex in my Saturn it was slightly small than the 1/0 input on my smart 3

But that 1g should be small enough to fit your inputs if not the 2g will.

Personally I wouldn't pay the premium price on car audio wire. Copper is copper imo

Do you remember the brand? Its hard to find good 2 ga
The cable has batterycableusa.com and trystar.com printed on it. It has a drop down menu that allows you to order various lengths.

Here is the link on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1320767374...d=link&campid=5335951755&toolid=20001&mkevt=1
