The less the better, best bang of the buck, but something decent. don't need anything groundbreaking/overkill speakers

Didn't have good experience with CDT, would like to stay away.

I'm really not sure lol. The car was my brothers before and the speakers blew out from listening too loud I guess?

The car had Hertz in the back, and CDT in the front. The Hertz are still there.

American Bass - VFL525MR with these you'll need xovers still.what model cdt's and were they amped.what amp ?

Yes they were amped.

This is the amp I'm using. and I do not know the exact model of the CDTs

bet they went bad from being clipped not over powered.anyway 90 watts rms in the cdt line would be the hd line or higher not the cl line

Yes they were amped.

With 5 inch woofer, I would worry, how low it its usable frequency response extension? For under $200, I'd look into Massive Audio CK6 series.
