using a capcitor does help..........

I just told you... and they are both going to be the same to charge you moron. The ability of it to charge has nothing to do with if it is a cap or a battery, but rather how many amps or "farads" your battery or cap is.
Once again... a battery is charged from an alternator.

A cap is charged from a battery... but wait go back and read what the battery is charged off of.

Oh yeah, the alternator... so let's do some deductive reasoning.

The cap charges off the battery which charges off the alt, so in essence the cap charges off the battery.

If caps are so great you should do this. Buy another cap, and take out your battery completely. Run one cap for your amp, and use the other for your car electrical (lights, etc.)... no tell me what is the cap charging off of?
Just get over it my friend, the alternator does not charge the cap, period.

You are seriously stupid. You expect people to think you studied electrical engineering? Tell me, go take the alt out of your car and neither you battery nor your cap will charge. Both depend on the alternator. Take the battery out of the equation and run your cap straight from the alternator. Now do you understand what the cap is charged on?
Let me tell you ONE more time... a cap runs through the battery, which runs through the alt, so without the alt, neither will charge. Do you get that now?
YOU FAILED ! I charged my cap with out the car running initially. It will stay charged until the battery reaches a voltages that will no longer charge the cap.

where is this said MAGIC cap,it must be new on the market

In stores all around you, which makes it even easier to believe the cap does help.

False, the cap will fluctuate in % charged millions of times. You were able to charge the cap with the car off because you stole some stored electricity from the battery, which happens to get charged by the alternator. You tell me which is easier to charge, a battery, which you toss on a charger, or a cap, that you have to slowly ween power to?

No **** sherlock, but guess what, the amp would still run and drain the battery until the battery could not provide enough voltage. So let me ask you what exactly that little cap is doing.

no thanks,my zx1000.1 does fine with my 95 amp alt and my yellow top duralast //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Give it up , you are not making sense now. A dead cap charges in seconds where as if you had a dead battery it would take hours to recharge.

my bad idskot, i was talking to wishbone. a while back, earlier in this thread, he said if anyone could disprove that caps are beneficial, he would send them an amp of their choice. i want the 25000 dollar rf 4 channel amp off of woofers etc. good deal eh? but wishbone, just give up, i hate to see ur poor little noob feelings get hurt

that's comparing apples to oranges... get a cap and battery that are equivalent in amperes and then tell me which one charges quicker. They will both charge in the same amount of time. If a cap is so great, go unplug your battery and try to start your car with the cap. Bet it won't work, because a cap isn't going to provide **** for power.

Because a cap can only store a fraction of the energy a battery can. The less you need to put back the quicker it goes.

haha looks like im not the only one to sig this funny little man
Hard not to quote someone who is this retarded. And he is supposedly an electrical engineer, but he can't understand how a simple circuit works? If he really got a degree, the future of this country is looking grim!!

Oh, we must be retarded, because his cap somehow magically instantly recharges without an alternator, must be made by a genius!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

... *facepalm*

No matter how many times we explain it, you continue to either be thick, or troll.

That sounds like a great deal.

And apology accepted.
