Well i can say that the pictures of your bday were someone else who looks like you with the same name... there is no way you can prove the piss stain is from last night, and i'd rather not see the last. Point is, it's possible to doubt everything over the internet

its my first sub upgrade. Right now i have a jl 100$ sub.

Don't judge though lol, my system was givin to me if i could figure out how to set it up,

so the equipment (as old as it is) was just a great way to learn how to run everything.

But ive definitely outgrown what i have, plus the newest of the 3 amps (yes its oldschool) is probably 4 years old lol.

but yeah I definitely love the type R's, Ive read everywhere that they are solid subs. And Because I still have so much to learn and experience with car audio, ill probably just go with two of those.

What is a good rms for a type r? ive heard from ppl that you should only power a sub 75-90% of its max rms. But ive heard ppl that run type r's at 1100 watts.

What im thinking is 2 type r's in a ported box, at 800watts per sub.

amp - Hifonics brutus 1600 mono.

Id run the subs at 1ohm.

And if that would be stupid to run them that hard then id run them on the 1200 version @ 600watts per sub.

yea that was what i was thinking, i had read alot of people that dig that set up, and it leaves room to upgrade to better equipment for sq or w/e i come to.

how about box sizes and tuning?

for two? 4-5 ft/cu and 32hz is the best mix of sq/spl for this sub. For higher spl tune it around 35hz. What are you listening to ?
