Skar SKV2 1500.1 amp with two alpine type r 10 inch 2 ohm subs

Question: do you think it’s ok to wire these down to half ohm with this app? If not what would be the next best thing to do so that I maintain as much power as possible with out damaging anything? Any and all help would be appreciated. I also have a 4 ohm type r 10 inch that I could run by itself. Any suggestions?

Wire each sub in series for a 4 Ohms load and then parallel them at the amp for a 2 Ohms final load.

That amp will run 1/2 ohm but its always subject to electrical. I like to run the risk myself. Make sure solid electrical is in place and let those puppies eat I say. A legit 200A alt /w/ 1 extra AGM battery & properly sized wire minimum is where I'd start.
I've ran 1/2 ohm whether bridged 2ch into 1 ohm or Monoblock since the mid 90's. Efficiency may suffer but output will certainly increase. Just make sure your electrical is solid BEFORE wiring down.
And YES... Skv amps will perform into a nominal 1/2 ohm load if done right. It's not a RP amp guys

Thank you bro. I have read several reviews similar to what you just said. I wasn’t opposed to running it at half ohm, just wanted to be on the safe side. Much appreciated
