Tommy K's Daily Driver Build

crazy score for a single 12, great job
Crazy score for this truck maybe, the S-10 will crap all over that score. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

But it's built for SPL, this thing is built for daily pounding.

Build looks great so far. Insane number for 1 12 in a singlecab in a music box.

Im going to PM you tomorrow. I need some advice on a quad cab truck that a friend of mine is doing.

MEGA UPDATE TODAY! Front stage is (almost) complete!

Here's the mids I'm using. Ascendant Audio 7" carbons:

Driver's door cut out a bit and reused the stock grille so everything looks stock:

The tweeters I'm using. LPG 25NFA 1" silk domes. Sound AMAZING.

The temporary mount for the show sunday. I'm still playing with the positioning a bit:

The only bummer of the whole thing....one of my tweeters is bad. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif And, of course, I find this out a half hour after madisound is closed for the day. FML.

So I'll either be rocking one tweeter for the show sunday or I'll magically be able to get a replacement on saturday. Either way it's nearing completion!

Last steps are going to be the extra batteries and rebuilding/finishing the sub enclosure.

Thanks for looking!

Did you just use hot glue to attach the tweeter rings to the A pillars?? I will be doing a similar build in my truck shortly so watching this one very close. Looks great so far!

Great tweeters. Where did you pick up those mids? I saw some on the forums about a month ago and I was going to snag them up.
I picked up those mids a while back from my good buddy Nick. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Hot glue actually wouldn't stick to the plastic, probably because I didn't rough it up. I ended up using goop and that held fine.
