sub wring problem, sub moving in instead of out

did the 9v test and when + and - are matched up the sub moves out but moves in when reversed
then the sub is fine, and it's all in your head.

eyes miss things just like cameras.

kinda like this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wagon-wheel_effect

your eye probably just isn't picking up all the movement.

get that sub on a high speed camera and then do slo-mo and i bet you'll see it going both ways //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

it happens ?

I dident read thru this thread but some amps have that phase switch maby yours is flicked by accident or it could be just an illusion

you are not crazy. it is the weirdest thing once you have seen it. with every bass note the sub goes lower and lower into the box.

its your enclosure. my sub did the same thing in a fiberglass enclosure i built but not in a standard wood box. try it out.
