Sub will only work if i reconnect rca cables

i have a rockford fosgate amp and a subwoofer and 2 speakers connected to the amp. the sub and the 2 speakers work fine, but only if i reconnect the rca cables everytime i turn on my car. the amp light goes on but theres still no output. unless i unplug the rca cable and plug it back in then the sub works fine. how do i fix this?

Do your RCA's come off the head unit or from something else, like an LOC?

i would check voltage in rca's see if over powering or maybe there is some sort of voltage turn on

Does it make a difference if the HU is off or on? Trying to figure out if it's the amp or HU that's the problem.
