Sub Stage Feedback

Hey guys, prior to doing lots of research on what I was buying I purchased (2) Hertz Audio HX300's, a Bassworx sealed box, and a JL JX1000/D amp. I added some dynamat to the back of the box and although I don't have much to compare to with this being my first car, I'm pretty satisfied overall.

But I wanted the feedback from you guys because I see there's all kinds of other subs and amp's your recommending, and people saying JL is garbage.

I think it came out to roughly $1200 CAD with everything. What do you guys think?

Its not a bad system by all means im actually gonna pick up an hx300 for my next build

Sweet, that's good to know. Yeah I'm content with it, I mean I can easily top it out, and because the amp is rated at 2 ohm and my subs are 4 ohm I don't even think I'm getting 1000w each.. but hey I mean it does what I need it to. With the 880PRS I think I'm setup for a decent future with the front stage and whatnot.
