Sub sending clipped signal?

I have a wolfram c.2400 amp backed by 1/0 ofc and a D3400 battery and stock 160 amp alt in my 2007 silverado. It is powering a skar sdr 10 600 rms sub. I am wired at 2 ohms. My sub is making a slight noise that I can only hear at low volume once the bass is turned up it drowns out the sound. But i know the sound is coming from my sub. It started making the sounds after i had my settings too high and the bass hit and mare a loud cackling sound. My bass knob as a clipping light on it and it seems to clip on some songs before the sub even gets loud. I was wondering if my subwoofer could be causing the clipping light to come on since it is in the circuit with the amp or if it is only the amp that can make the light come on.

id check all the wiring/fuses, making sure everything looks legit, connections etc

then id check to make sure your amp gain is set right. heres how. note, the 50hz and 1khz test tones are at the very bottom

if thats all good, id take the sub out and look it over. press down on the cone, carefully to see if its scraping. the voice coil might be messed up

I appreciate it

stock head unit or aftermarket?

Recheck all your grounds, Test to see if your RCA is bad as well. Get an aux to rca splitter and plug your phone straight to your sub amp play some music and see if you get the same clip light issue. If no, then its a signal/RCA issue. If yes than its a ground/amp issue.
