Need a recommendation here.

Budget: $100

Power: 200-250W RMS

Wiring: To 4 ohms

Objective: SQL

Enclosure: Built to spec personally.

ID CTX is almost a possibility, but tax puts it a bit over - still considering it though. I'm also thinking of the Diamond Audio DS10D2 and the Memphis 15-PR1254 12". Looking for a few other recommendations to be put out here. Budget is set in stone, for a friend here. Can't do classifieds, only authorized internet sites.

woofers charges tax? http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=7171 don't think they do. the ctx will do fine. if you could spare a few more dollars they have some IDQv2 still left if not the ctx should be fine. i have a couple i'm just waiting to build boxs to spec to play with them.

Iunno - assumed they did. I can't go up to even the 12" - have to stick with the 10", for a $100. Budget is quite set in stone.

How much power are you supposed to run to them? It's not listed.

175 rms for the 12 and says the 10s are the same thing hmm

Ehh, I can keep the gains down then. What other options are there to consider - in case I can't stretch my friend's budget a few dollars here? What'll probably end up happening is he'll pay me a $100 cash and I'll order it. So, I'd love to keep money from coming out of my pocket.
