i just installed my friends' 2 pioneer ts-w306dvc subs and 2 pioneer gm-7100m amps.

the problem is every time i turn on or off the radio/tap player on a 98 dodge ram 1500 the subs pop and also, when i turn up the volume loud but not super loud they cutted out and in.

what could be the problem? could it be the factory radio?

well the sub pops because sometimes that happens with amps, it could be a bad ground. how are all the connections to the amp and sub? you may want to check all that make sure everything is hooked up right and tight

each amp is powering one sub and the subs are wired up parallel.

if i wired the subs parallel. each would become 400RMS 2ohms right?

and each amp pushes 360RMS x 1 @ 2ohms
