I'm trying to find the proper sealed enclosure air space - but they have dropped the subwoofer off of their website. I just switched to a new truck and need to build a box for under the Crew Cab seat in my Titan. The old box was a bandpass in a BMW trunk.

Ok, I found this on a website:

Works in Sealed, Small and Large Ported Boxes

Rec. Sealed Box Enclosure: 0.50 - 1.00 cu. ft.

Rec. Ported Box Enclosure: 0.70 cu. ft.

Does this mean I can get away with .50 cu ft per driver? Or would I do better with more? The air space must effect the sound of the driver, right? It seems like .5-1.0 is a rather wide range!
