Sub not working!?!?!?!

id say the assassin is alot better choice. I just put an 8 in my friends minivan and it is amazing for an 8. And ive heard xplodes before they **** balls get rid of them asap. THe assassin 8 is at least 10 times better in sq and spl than it no joke.

maybe I should get the 18". I can manage to fit it in. I can build a new box too. I thought it was kinda fun.
i wouldn't get ahead of yourself...lol

also getting in high power systems you may have to change the power setup in your car..i.e. battery..alternator

your amp will put out power according to the voice coils. 1 4 ohm sub will make the amp see 4 ohms. a dual 4 ohm voice coil sub will make the amp see 2 ohms. the amp you're looking at will show what it'll do at each ohm rating.
we'll go through how to wire it a little later

Try this, reptheoakland:

Find yourself a comfortable seating position, get on your readin' specs if you require them, and then click on this link ~

http://www.bcae1.com

It's rather time-consuming as there is an veritable treasure trove on information to be found there but I assure you it will be well worth the time invested to get through it all.

We can only assume that you are a complete novice when it comes to aftermarket car audio (which is nothing to be ashamed of...we all were once) and there is simply too much info you're apparently in pretty dire need of for us to provide it by answering a few questions.

Trust me on this. It will be worth the read.

Thanks! Ill take a look. For altenator i can upgrade. I can do the formula for watts to amps. Its a stock one right now. my alternators dieing anyways:mad: . i think im learnin a lot right now though.

Wire remote cable to amp. Amp to ground. Amp has the negative and positives which you wire to sub. Amp gets power from battery. ill use one guage not 8. Read a forum about wires lol. Is that right?
