sub in my room?

Well that is meant for home audio use but certainly it will accept an input from your computer's sound card with a simple stereo miniplug to dual male RCA ends adapter. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

how dangerous is it to have a car batt in my room //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Fumes from lead acid batteries are poisonous //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Which are you talking about? The plate amp? If so then no, you cannot power a HU or an amp from that. You still need a source of 12vdc (car battery-type current) of sufficient amperage to run the mobile audio gear like I stated previously.

Hold on a tick and let me get a picture for you.

Edit: Is a BatCap the same as a regular 1 farad capacitor only larger storage capacity or is it a sealed gel battery like an Optima or something?

As far as a website to buy them goes look it up! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/search.gif.e79a63b2b580b39b282dff402646b704.gif Google is your friend //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

C'mon, guys! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I'm not going to do all your homework for you. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

its sealed. I had to make sure of that or FedEx wouldnt ship it out for me. I actually had a letter sent from Xstatic saying that it was completely safe for shipping.

I would just go to radio shack and ask them everything I would need, but some of the easiest questions i have asked them they seem like they have no clue what they are talking about...plus, I dont know about you, but it seems like they have gone so downhill in the last 5-6 years...they dont have all the little gadgets they used to. But that may vary from store to store.

Black box to the righthand side.

35a constant and like 41a peak draw, I think? I gave around $100 for that one.

why not just buy a sub amp made for home audio use. after all a speaker is a speaker. people always want to run 12v amps in home and it doesn't make sense when they make amps for home/pa use that run on 110v. why make it harder than it is
