More people, more bass?

I was ridin with my friend yesterday and jamin the system like always

but then we picked up 3 poeple and with all of us (5) in there the bass seemed almost twice as loud

more people + smaller airspace = louder bass????? haha right

Normally with less volume, there is less space to pressurize. So in theory it would be louder. But I doubt cramming some buddys in the car will increase it 3db to sound twice as loud.

Never thought about it. I don't ride with anyone that allows me to crank it up too high. My brother starts complaining about his chest at around 15/30. lol...

For some reason the more people I have in my car the less volume I get with it. I never did understand that.
